Feature Spotlight: Date Range Search in Workday Summary

The most recent versions of Job Manager 4.5 now include the ability to search over a date range in the Workday Summary report. Using the Change Condition button in the Workday Summary report, a user can enter a desired date range before executing the report. With the Change Employee permission applied, the user can run Workday Summary reports of a range for any employee.

Q&A with Technical Support: Session Timeouts

When logged into Workgroups Portal my session occasionally times out. Why?

Like many other browser based applications, Workgroups Portal has a timeout period to log the user out after a specified time of inactivity. The Remember Me checkbox found on the login screen is a way to keep your session live until the user physically clicks the Logout link in Workgroups Portal. Remember Me sets a session time out cookie in the web browser that is several years into the future.

Smart Tip of the Month: Copy Records in Virtual Ticket

Sometimes a record for a folder or document type may need to be duplicated wholly or in part to create a new record. For example, a job may be repeated from month to month with just adjustments in the dates associated with the job. In these cases, a copy operation on a form under the folder or document type would save time and reduce the chances of user error. Knowledge Base article 16306 contains complete details of this solution and examples on its use.
