A built-in forms editor allows File Ticket forms to be customized to reflect an organization's look and feel, and to visually present information in an understandable and intuitive way.
File Ticket forms may be as simple or complex as an organization requires. Design elements, fields, controls, and even scripts may be used to build the industry's most powerful collectors of metadata.
File Tickets are available for any file in Digital Storage Manager and can be customized for any environment. A convenient toolbar allows an Administrator to add metadata fields, design the look and feel, and even create scripts for users to perform automatic actions from within the ticket.
Lookup buttons can be placed on File Tickets to extract metadata from your external database. Metadata can be mapped into user defined fields and used for searching. Pull job metadata from your external production or marketing system and assign it to files or folders of files automatically. Simple integration solutions are available for FileMaker Pro and SQL based databases. These integrations allow the automatic assignment of information like customer, job name, sales person, brand, and marketing information directly within job folders. Once assigned, some or all of this information can be automatically propagated to any file placed in the directory.
Metadata applied at the folder level can be automatically propagated to all files and folders contained within.
