IOWA CITY, IA—April 2nd, 2004. MetaCommunications, a software development company based in Iowa City, Iowa, is scheduled to open a research and development center in Saint-Petersburg, Russia on May 3rd, 2004. MetaCommunications has recruited top talent for the Saint-Petersburg team to be led by a long-term member of MetaCommunications’ U.S. based team and a native of Saint-Petersburg. The Saint-Petersburg center marks a strategic investment by MetaCommunications, supporting its growing software engineering initiatives.
